Frequently asked questions

Can an organization that is not a client post a job?

Yes, without creating an account. Volunteer and internship postings are free. A paid job posting has a fee, shown before payment. Our team reviews every posting before it goes live.

Which posting rules are checked?

Those of the position’s province or territory: pay range, pay history questions, disclosure of artificial intelligence, whether the position is vacant, Canadian experience requirements, French in Quebec. A posting that breaks a rule cannot be published.

Where do my postings appear?

On your organization’s career page and on the Samwell Job board, with its pages by province and territory. Each posting carries the structured data that job search engines read.

Do candidates need an account?

No. They apply online, attach their resume and confirm their application by email. Resumes are kept in private storage.
